Pre-interview checks
Shortcut protection
Enable shortcut protection in the app, then check whether protected shortcuts reach the page.
Set it up in the app
- Under Settings → Keyboard protection, choose the keys to protect. You can enable either side of Command, Option, Control, or Shift independently. Turn protection on as needed after restarting the app.
- Leave the keys you use for copying, pasting, and other meeting or browser actions unprotected.
- If permission is needed, open the permission prompt and allow Accessibility access. Protection pauses while you use the app itself and resumes when you return to another app.
Compare before and after
- Open the shortcut protection check. Confirm that A appears, then test the app shortcuts you have protected.
- Compare the same key combination with protection off and on.
- Also confirm that the intended app action runs. Check event delivery and the app action together.
Shortcut protectionApp settings
Choose the keys to protect under Keyboard protection in App settings, then return to the web check.
